Hi! Im Ru, a passionate student who is about to head into grade 11. Im super intrested in music, creativity, and science, and I love finding ways to connect different interests, hence the website.
IOutside of class, you can find me at the library working on some coding projects or in the band room practicing the flute or piano. I enjoy web development as it allows me to use this site to share my personal projects and hobbies. In addition to all of this, I also play in my schools music ensemble and have experience in playing in an orchestra. After playing my first (flute) solo in grade 9, it really made me appreciate being part of a group that creates something meaningful, as it is one of my favourite feelings Ive ever experienced.
Im especially fascinated by aerospace engineering and the science of how things move, fly, and function in extreme environments. I hope to explore this field further in university and beyond.

I was part of my schools junior leadership program, where I helped organize events, supported younger students, and developed strong communication skills. This experience taught me how to take initiative and lead with kindness
I enjoy creating small desktop softwares and updating my current website in my free time. I also enjoy experimenting with different languages and finding out how unique each one is.

Assisted with both the setup and takedown of school concert events. Tasks included organizing chairs and stands, helping with sound equipment, and ensuring the performance space was prepared and cleaned efficiently.
Helped with preparing venues for various school-wide events (Carazaga). Responsibilities included setting up tables, decorations, signage, and ensuring the smooth flow of event logistics.
Participated in organizing and setting up a local triathlon event. Duties included assisting with station setup, managing water distribution tables, and providing general support to event staff and participants.
Contributed behind the scenes at a local theater (Crane Creations). Tasks included ushering, helping with props and set transitions, and supporting the technical team to ensure performances ran smoothly.
Engaged in various general volunteer opportunities including school club assistance, classroom support, and community tasks as needed.
